Wellness and Your Law Practice

A Four Part Yoga HBA CLE Series.

Each class offers 1.5 hours MCLE credit, including .5 hours ethics credit

Participants in The Mindful Law Firm series will:

  • Understand the science of mindfulness and meditation and how the science is correlated to well-being;
  • Learn the difference between mindfulness and mindfulness practices and how to incorporate mindfulness practices into daily life, with a focus on the joys, challenges, and ethics of working in the legal environment;
  • Become aware of the body and the brain and gain an understanding of the brain’s analytical and lateral thinking skills developed through the study and practice of law to enhance employee well-bring, skill-set development, business growth, and a sense of passion and purpose or workplace satisfaction and sense of belonging;
  • Learn gentle yoga stretches and practical breathing exercises to be used throughout the day, in a variety of settings to bring and restore balance; and
  • Learn practices to recognize and reduce stress and anxiety to support wellness and nurture professional responsibility.

Items to bring with you: yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, comfortable clothing that supports and contains you.
